My passion for labor and delivery began long before I became a nurse. As a high school student volunteering at a hospital, I was given a life-changing opportunity—to witness the birth of a baby.

In that moment, everything shifted. Hearing that first cry, watching the overwhelming joy on the parents’ faces, and feeling the emotion in the room… I knew without a doubt this was what I was meant to do.

I went on to earn my nursing degree and became a Registered Nurse, stepping into my dream role in labor and delivery. Every day, I had the privilege of supporting families through one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. I never grew tired of it—the miracle of birth, the connection between parents and their newborn, and yes, even the joy of caring for those tiny, beautiful babies.

But over time, I began to notice a gap.

Again and again, parents would express the same concern:
“What do we do when we go home?”
“We wish we had this kind of support at home.”

Many families are discharged 24 hours after birth—just as they’re beginning to learn how to care for their newborn, while mothers are only at the very start of their own physical recovery. It simply isn’t enough time.

Then, everything became personal.

After the birth of my own son, I experienced firsthand just how challenging those early weeks can be. Recovering from a cesarean section while waking every few hours to feed, navigating exhaustion, healing, and the emotional transition into motherhood—it was one of the most demanding seasons of my life.

And in that experience, the vision became clear.

What if families didn’t have to do this alone?
What if expert, compassionate nursing support could meet them right where they are—at home?

From that question, Bloom & Bond Concierge Nursing was born.

Our mission is to provide personalized, in-home care that supports both mother and baby during this critical transition. We offer guidance, education, and clinical insight, while also giving families the gift of rest, confidence, and peace of mind.
